Marjorie Ann Cato, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Spring Hill on December 27, 2020. She was born in Hope on August 4, 1930, to Dixie Taylor Betts and Elmer Betts, and was a lifelong resident of Hempstead county. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith, a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Lile Cato, a daughter, Angela Cato Banks, and a son, Phil Cato.
Survivors left with memories are her Sisters: Patricia and husband Dean Roach, and Nancy and husband Aaron Cross. Grandsons: Jason and wife Laura Banks, and Eric and wife Karen Banks. Great Grandchildren: Dylan, Keaton, Alex, Max, and Isaac Banks, Ephraim, Levi, and Yancey Lee, and Taylor, Christian, and Paige Dougan. Great-Great Grandchildren: John Wayne and Scarlett Grace Smith, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to the Covid Virus.
