Mr. James Anderson, age 90 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Wadley Regional in Hope. James was born November 2, 1928 in Hope, Arkansas to Willie Leslie and Lea Buster Anderson. He served in the United States Army and later was a self-employed painter. James was of Baptist faith. His favorite hobbies included; fishing, working on small engines, and socializing at Wal-Mart. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Willie Jr Anderson, Elmer Anderson, and Jess Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of over 56 years, Patsy Anderson, two daughters, Yvonne Russell Husband David of Hope, AR, Melissa Chaney Husband Claude of Hope, AR, a special daughter, Sandee Lively, a brother, John Anderson of Hope, AR, a sister, Maxine Lively, two grandchildren, Leslie Russell of New York, NY, Shelby Cox husband Aaron of Spring Hill, AR, two great grandchildren, Skyler Powell, Wesley Cox, and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, Arkansas 71801.
