Diamond Bank Names Rusty Burke Chief Lending Officer

Hot Springs, AR – Diamond Bank is excited to announce the promotion of Rusty Burke to Chief Lending Officer of Diamond Bank, effective Monday, April 30th.

“Diamond Bank is excited about the promotion of Rusty Burke to the Chief Lending position.  His knowledge and experience makes him well qualified to lead the Diamond Bank lending team.  Rusty has been a very successful Market President in Hope for the last 18 years.  Diamond Bank recognized his leadership and dedication along with the rapport of his fellow lenders will make the transition seamless.  Rusty is an asset to our organization and only strengthens our leadership here at Diamond Bank,” said Johnny Gibbs, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Diamond Bank.

Rusty has a strong background in community bank leadership, relationship management and loan production.  A graduate from Hope High School in 1985, Rusty went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a degree in Ag-Business from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville in 1989.  He attended general banking school at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and lending school at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.  He began his banking career in 1990 and joined Diamond Bank in 2001.

Rusty and his wife of 25 years, Sharlene Harris Burke, currently reside in Hope, AR.  During his off time, Rusty enjoys working on their cattle farm, going to the lake and helping his nieces and nephews with any activities they have going on.
