Blevins Class of 2019 Commencement

Blevins Seniors’ time to say goodbye to their teachers and classmates during their graduation came Friday night at Hempstead Hall. The 2019 class were cheered on by family and friends as they shared memories and created one more, they will carry the rest of their lives.

Kevin Steed, a ‘96 Blevins graduate, was the guest speaker. Steed shared lessons he learned from others and through his experience and encouraged the graduates to make wise choices in what they do now so they can reap the rewards throughout their lives.

Salutatorian Madison Butller and Co-Valedictorians Kasey Jester and Amani Furlow each spoke briefly to those in attendance, capping off their time at Blevins and looking forward to the start of the next phase of their journeys.
